Here at Tola Yoga & Fitness, each class is one hour long. In yoga there are varying degrees of difficulty or pace, be sure to take a look at the "class options" page for a detailed description of classes and difficulty levels. We recommend Yoga beginners start with Gentle Hatha or Yin to get a feel for class pace and the type of instruction they'll be receiving in a yoga class.

What to wear
Wear any clothing that is loose or provides ease of movement. For barre classes, grip socks are required. We sell them in studio, or you're welcome to bring your own special pair. 


  • Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to settle in. Late comers will not be permitted to enter the class after it's begun.
  • Out of respect for your fellow students please keep your voice soft and talking to a minimum upon entering the studio.
  • Please advise the instructor of any health issues or injuries prior to the start of class.
  • Please turn your electronic devices off or to silent prior to entering the studio.
  • If you've used props please place them neatly back on the shelf for other students to use.
  • If you've borrowed a mat, please use the mat cleaner provided and wipe it down for other students to use.

It's recommended that students bring the following items for class:

  • Water bottle
  • Towel (for sweat)
  • Mat (if you do not have a mat, we have some in studio for your use
