A hybridized form of Pilates, Ballet and Aerobics centered around the use of the ballet barre for support and alignment. This is a fun, safe, reshaping exercise that will provide you with a low impact work out that allows you to see and feel the results. This will make you sweat, feel rejuvenated and energized.
Utilizes yoga in which movement is synchronized to the breath. Through the synchronizing of breath and movement, the student can achieve a meditative state. If all else fails, it's an awesome strength and endurance building yoga class. Vinyasa Flow can include the use of music and yogic philosophy, it is recommended for intermediate beginners or intermediate practitioners, as the movement can be vigorous.
Combines the postures of Hatha with the fluidity of Vinyasa. A gentle flow class, perfect for beginners and intermediate students, is an excellent introduction to flow movement.
Great class for beginners and any student who wishes to build strength and expand, but in a gentle setting. Gentle Hatha is pre/post natal friendly, so new Moms and Moms to be are welcome! Using the joint medley of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and calming the mind for meditative practice, Gentle Hatha is a well rounded practice for all skill levels.
Yin Yoga, similar to Restorative Yoga, targets the connective tissues - such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not active in typical asana (postures) practice.
Restorative Yoga is extremely gentle. With a focus on the use of props to support the body so that postures can be held for longer, this allows the body to open through passive stretching. The class sequence is adapted from supine or seated asana (postures) with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining or pressure on the joints and ligaments.
